Asset Allocation Strategy

Fixed income securities are our primary source of investment income and the foundation of our solvency. For additional investment return, we also invest in other asset classes, such as stocks, funds and alternative investments. All of these are in line with our objective to provide sustainable, long-term investment returns to our policyholders. Meanwhile, investment portfolios for different products are tailor-made based on the unique features and risk profiles of these products. Derivatives and other hedging instruments may be used to manage investment risk at the Company's decision based on its long-term market view and asset-liability positions. It should be noted that residual investment risk may still exist after hedging.

Our Investment Team

Our investment team comprises high-calibre members from a wide range of backgrounds who have a wealth of expertise in major investment markets around the globe, such as Europe, the United States, Hong Kong and Mainland China. They also have extensive track records in managing insurance assets and practical experience in managing fixed income, stock and alternative investments.
